All members meet regularly to decide on the association’s strategy, elect the board and approve its activities and accounts.
The European Restless Legs Syndrome Study Group (EURLSSG) is a non-profit association of RLS experts who are actively involved in RLS research.
Dedicated to optimising patient outcomes by continuously improving standards for the diagnosis and treatment of RLS.
Restless Legs Syndrome is one of the most common neurological sleep-related disorders, yet it remains frequently under-recognised and sub-optimally treated. The EURLSSG was founded to change this — by uniting clinicians and scientists from across Europe who share a commitment to rigorous research and better care.
Our members work in neurology, sleep medicine, psychiatry, neurophysiology, genetics and basic neuroscience. Together, we develop and evaluate standards, run collaborative research, and pass our knowledge on through meetings and training.
Become a memberThe purposes of the association are realised in particular through the following activities.

Organisation of scientific meetings, seminars and advanced training activities for clinicians and researchers.
Cooperation with national and international scientists, research organisations or consortia that could support the objectives of the association.
Assignment of research contracts to universities or non-profit organisations.
Provision of grants to members for participation in scientific and educational meetings.
